My husband and I really loved this. I started off making this for my husband, because I’m not that big on pork chops and gravy, but I decided to give it a shot, and in the future, I’ll be making it for both of us. It was delicious!!! The pork chops were tender, and the gravy was awesome. I added in some biscuits, and it was the perfect combination. It’s definitely a do-over!!!

You say cook the mean for an additional 20-25 minutes per pound, and you cooked yours 90 minutes because it was 6 pounds? that would be 15 minutes per pound.

In Canada it’s referred to as icing sugar, other regions call it powdered sugar or confectioners sugar.

Made this on a day we were expecting 4-6 inches of snow plus ice. It’s a winner to me. Delicious! I used bread flour. I bought it buy mistake & wanted to use it. I didn’t have enough o.j. so I used concentrate w/a little Water. Didn’t take an hour to bake. I couldn’t wait so I cut it while it was warm. Delicious even without icing.
