In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture is coarse crumbs. Stir in the cheese and bacon.
Pour in the milk and mix until the dough comes together completely.
Roll out the dough until it's 1/4 of an inch thick then cut out circles that fit in your waffle iron or squares.
Place the dough in the waffle iron and close. If you have a setting for color or crispness of the waffle, choose the middle setting. You need to cook them thoroughly.
Cook in the waffle iron until well browned on the outside. The biscuits will puff up slightly and cook. Remove and cool on a wire rack, or serve warm.
