In a medium bowl, stir the Bisquick mix and the milk together until completely combined and formed into a sticky, soft dough.
Drop the biscuit dough by large tablespoonfuls onto the hot stew or soup mixture. I like to drop it onto areas that have liquid so the biscuits do not get dried out. This will make 8 dumplings.
Place the lid back on the Dutch oven/soup pot/slow cooker and cook for 15 minutes. Take off the lid and continue cooking for another 5 minutes or until the biscuits are done.
The biscuits will be done when the top and bottoms are cooked and no longer sticky.
Notes
You can add seasoning to this if you want, like dried parsley, dill, etc.
