A healthier alternative to a heavy beef soup this Italian turkey macaroni soup is still a filling main dish hit with the family.

Ingredients

one ground turkey
1/2
large
white onion diced

cloves
garlic minced

28-ounce can
diced tomatoes
1/2
cup
ketchup

strong chicken broth
1 1/2
tablespoons
Italian seasoning

uncooked macaroni noodles
Instructions
Fry the turkey in a skillet until browned and no pink remains. Drain and place into a crockpot.
Fry the onions until translucent; add the garlic and cook for 2-3 minutes until browned. Add to crockpot.
Combine the rest of the ingredients (excepting the macaroni) in the crockpot.
Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
Around 30-45 minutes before serving, add in the macaroni. Cook in crockpot until tender.
Serve and enjoy.
